A Lovely Article on Colour, 1995,

This work makes reference to an article written by Michelangelo Antonioni that was published in the journal Cinema in 1942. 

At the end of the text panels, I placed a white ‘the’ in the centre of a framed red photograph.

The still located above the plexi-mounted text panels is taken from Howard Hawks’ film Twentieth Century (1934). I placed a small red ‘a’ on the black & white film still.
