cibachromes

This piece consists of three cibachromes. Over each one is a scattering of names of people: friends, art historical figures, film directors, and writers, art services, and my Toronto gallery. Over the period from 1979 to 1990 I incorporated some aspect of all of these people's work into my own work.

a) The first cibachrome is made from a still from the film Aparajito by director Satyajit Ray.

b) The second cibachrome is made from a slide I took of pigeons flying from a church window.

c) The third cibachrome is made from a photograph taken by director Alain Resnais as a note for the film, The Monster Maker, which was never made.
